As a counterpart to the dead man's lever for small nominal diameters, the safety interlock protects the ball valve against accidental actuation in the case of larger nominal diameters.
The hand lever must be unlocked before opening or closing the MECAFRANCE ball valve. After the switching operation, the safety bolt automatically engages again.
The safety interlock is integrally available for all ball valves from DN 80 standard or DN 65 nominal sizes.
