The RA series
is prepared as standard for the construction of rotary actuators of all kinds. The interface according to DIN-ISO 5211 ensures a quick and easy setup. Both double-acting actuators and spring-return actuators can be mounted. Likewise, electric drives can easily be mounted on the ball valves.
In order to be able to correctly design the drive, we need the following information about your operating conditions:
- local control air pressure for drive control
- existing control voltage for controlling the solenoid valve - possible additional instruments such as bearing feedbacks
- operating and ambient temperatures
- differential pressure (input / output) at the valve.
All kinds of drives can be used to automate the ball valves. The pneumatic and electric actuators have proven particularly useful. The advantage of ball valves - opening and closing with a 90 ° movement - makes the combination of actuator and ball valve particularly interesting, as 90 ° swivel drives are a durable and cost-effective solution and reliably control your production over a long service life.
